Focus on digital model clinics: technical implementation

State-of-the-art communication technologies such as 5G/6G, robotics, sensor technology and AI are revolutionising the healthcare sector. The DigiCare2030 project is developing an innovation concept for the application of digital innovations in the clinical environment and invites you to shape the digital future of healthcare together in two workshops.

Start:30/10/2024 - 09:00 AM
End:30/10/2024 - 06:00 PM
Location:Science & Tech Space @ HHI (Salzufer 15/16, 10587 Berlin)

State-of-the-art communication technologies and applications based on them in the fields of robotics, sensor technology and AI offer enormous potential for meeting the challenges of the healthcare system. The basis for this is a powerful, secure and open communication infrastructure - because it is the foundation for the seamless networking of medical devices, for the transmission and processing of patient/health data in real time and for access to telemedicine and remote monitoring. The project consortium of the Fraunhofer Institute for Telecommunications, the Heinrich Hertz Institute (HHI) and the German Heart Centre of the Charité (DHZC) is now inviting participants to two interdisciplinary, practical workshops.

Workshop "The digital model clinic - technical realisation" (Fraunhofer HHI)

Date: 30 October 2024 (9:00-18:00)

Location: Science & Tech Space @ HHI (Salzufer 15/16, 10587 Berlin)

Content: As part of the DigiCare2030 project, the HHI invites you to an interdisciplinary workshop to work with stakeholders to develop concrete applications, needs, requirements and obstacles for the implementation of digital innovations in healthcare. The focus is on digital innovations based on state-of-the-art communication technology, including medical robotics, 5G/6G campus networks, monitoring and sensing technologies and AI tools. Possible approaches for successful implementation will be developed together with the participants in an interactive format.

Target group: The workshop is aimed at experts and organisations from the fields of communication technology, medical technology, hospital IT, standardisation, start-ups, research partners and members of the DigiCare2030 consortium.
