StreetProbe

Using vehicle sensors to automatically acquire data to monitor road conditions (Smart Services World I technology programme)

The "StreetProbe" project is developing a cloud-based system for recording and evaluating road conditions. Using sensors that already exist in vehicles today, the project aims to record the conditions of roads and evaluate the data on a cloud platform to improve the early detection and recording of road damages. Based on the data collected, "StreetProbe" aims to provide smart services such as automatic vehicle dampers and accurate road maps for highly automated vehicle systems.
